Breaking Down Silos to Break Through Inequities
Making decisions in silos perpetuates historic inequities yet is a common practice in public schools. Austin ISD used the Equity by Design process to complete its first comprehensive long-range plan which improves facility conditions and proposes programmatic strategies to better support historically underserved communities. From process to implementation, this session will share tools to make your own operational and facility decision-making more holistic and more equitable.
