People with intellectual and developmental disabilities have tremendous potential to change their own lives and the world at large. They have unique talents, untapped creativity, and valuable lived experience. Yet, they have been left out of programs and projects about their lives. This session will share the lessons and tools that have helped a powerful self-advocate claim a seat not just at the table—but at its head!
