This session is part of the special 2024 Crossover Day. Attendance is open to all SXSW EDU badgeholders as well as all SXSW badgeholders. As always, SXSW strongly believes in the power of mixing creative communities.

Immersed is a multi-media educational programme that has developed curriculum into a community that connects academia, industry & people with the power of music & social causes. Giving agency & voice to youth to advocate for real & immediate solutions through creative expression is at the heart of the project. We collaborate with charity, Music Declares Emergency to educate on climate change & empower young people to take positive action. Hear how over 500 students embark on an industry simulation that nurtures skills, employability & experimentation through task & challenge based learning.
