Why Every K-12 Student Should Learn Quantum Computing

In this session, The Coding School will introduce ways to get K-12 students and educators ready for the emerging tech future by discussing how and why quantum computing should be taught in schools. Based on our work of creating the largest quantum education initiative globally with over 20,000 students and educators trained, we will share how quantum computing knowledge and skills can strengthen students' interest and confidence in STEM - even though that are not STEM-inclined - as well as share best practices and learning opportunities for students to learn quantum computing.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
