Charlai Newkirk

A native of Brooklyn, NY; Ms.Char-Lai Newkirk has been an educator in the classroom for over 17 years. She possesses a MSED in Students with Disabilities from Brooklyn College and Bachelors of Human Services from MCNY. Teaching history and civic awareness to her students at Bed Stuy New Beginnings Charter School; she hopes to help cultivate change makers and leaders of tomorrow. Dedicated to the service of educating the whole child, Ms.Newkirk is also the Program Director for BSNBCS after school program.
