Kat Ward

Kat Ward is a design strategist, operating throughout her career at the intersection of innovation and business design. As a strategist, Kat has built expertise in equity-centered design, developing frameworks and methods that elevate historically and systematically marginalized student voices in education. In addition to her work in education, Kat has experience delivering transformative innovations for Fortune 250 companies in the financial services and technology world. Kat has an MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and an MA in Design Leadership from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

In her spare time, Kat volunteers with local Austin non-profit organizations and spends time with her pets, Steak and Butter.
