Cathy Nelson

Cathy Nelson, MS, holds degrees in Elementary Education, Special Education & Reading. She currently serves as Curriculum Specialist for Visual and Performing Arts at Omaha South High School, the largest secondary school in NE. Cathy has a strong background in staff development, coordinating SEL training and consultation for schools throughout America. For more than a decade, Cathy has been a national training cadre member for the National Education Association’s Bullying and Sexual Harassment Prevention and Intervention Program and a training coordinator and facilitator for Minnesota Humanities’ Increase Student Engagement through Absent Narratives. She has served as a Teacher Leader & Service Learning Coordinator in alternative education for over ten years.
