Alyssa Alfano
Alyssa Alfano is the Associate Director of School and Community Partnerships in the teacher education program at New York University. During her time at NYU she has connected more than 1,000 aspiring teachers with public, charter, and independent schools across New York City. Prior to working at NYU, Alyssa helped new teachers enrolled at Relay Graduate School of Education earn their New York State teaching certificates. She began her career in education with Teach for America as a high school special education and math teacher in the Bronx. Alyssa earned her MBA from NYU Stern, her M.Ed from CUNY Hunter College, and her B.S. from Seton Hall University. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her family.
