Jill Baker
Jill Baker has served as a school principal, elementary and middle school classroom teacher, regional staff developer, and higher education faculty member for nearly 30 years. Currently, Jill serves as a Senior Instructor and Coordinator of Elementary Education at Northwest Missouri State University. Jill has a passion for helping teachers implement social justice practices to create inclusive classrooms that are highly engaging for students of all ages. When Jill is not engaged in all things education-related, she enjoys all Cornhusker sports, reading, running, cooking, decorating, and traveling with her husband and three children. Jill is a very enthusiastic dog mom and adores her Goldendoodle, Eleanor Ruth Bader Baker. Jill is elated to be a part of SxSWEDU and cannot wait to spend time with those she will mentor.
