Jonathan McCarty

Jonathan has 15 years of experience in education across school systems and the non-profit sector. He has spent his career working as a teacher, charter school and network executive and leadership development consultant. At Blue Engine, he supports partner schools across in Louisiana through their Direct School Support model, working closely with charter school and network leaders and their teachers to design and develop high-impact, co-taught classrooms that meet the needs of all students. Jonathan has a master's degree in School Building Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University and serves on the boards of New Orleans based LGBTQIA+ charities.
