Aqua Stovall

Aqua Stovall is the founder and CEO of the Special Education Leader Fellowship (SELF.) Aqua graduated from New Leaders for New Schools and served as the assistant principal at KIPP McDonogh 15 School for the Creative Arts in New Orleans, LA. She was FirstLine School’s founding School Director at Arthur Ashe Charter School, where she led rapid student achievement improvement and was promoted to the Director of Student Support for the FirstLine network.
Aqua has served as a Teacher Quality Specialist and as an Assistant Superintendent at Newark Public Schools. She is a member of the Center for Learner Equity’s Equity Coalition and the New Orleans Special Education Consortium.
