Amelia Kelly

Dr. Amelia Kelly is the Chief Technology Officer at Soapbox Labs. She is a Fulbright scholar and holds a PhD and M.Phil in Linguistics and Speech Technology from Trinity College Dublin. She has 15 years experience in artificial intelligence and speech engineering spanning industry and academia, and specialises in child speech recognition. She has held advisory positions including on the National Standards Association of Ireland Top Team in AI advising the Irish government on AI standards, and has won several awards, such as the 2022 AI Person of the Year and the 2023 AI Project Leader of the Year in the Business Post CIO and IT Leaders awards.
