Marco Ibarra
Marco Ibarra has over 15 years of experience in education and over 6 years as a middle school principal. He currently serves as a PBIS coordinator at the Los Angeles County Office of Education and is working on lifting the PBIS Culturally responsive field guide at schools throughout Los Angeles through the California Integrated Service Project. Marco has led anti-racist initiatives as a principal including but not limited to holding Courageous Conversations about Race, People of Color Affinity Spaces, and Valor Compass Community Circles with all staff and scholars. He is currently partnered with the Leadership Academy to host Principal of Color affinity spaces with leaders across the country. Marco holds a BA in Sociology from Cal Poly Pomona and a MA in Educational Leadership from Loyola Marymount University.
