Isabel Gwara
Isabel is an educator advocating for high-quality, engaging learning experiences for all students, particularly in the field of technology. She believes all students deserve opportunities to express their creativity, experience joy in the classroom, and enact change in their community. A Teach for America alumna and 2020 Cognizant AP Computer Science Principles Fellow, she previously led the Computer Science program of study at a Title I high school. Isabel discovered her passion for computer science at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in cognitive science. She also received a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
