Cristina Nowak

Cristina Nowak is an educator and entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and STEM education. She started her education career as a high school social studies teacher working in Title 1 public schools. From there, Cristina worked at several nonprofits including Girls Who Code, Boolean Girl, AI4ALL, and founded a Buffalo-based CS education program, CodeBuff. She specializes in executive leadership, project and product management, and instructional coaching, but her true passion is designing curriculum for learners traditionally left behind by tech education. At The Coding School, she leads a mission-driven team dedicated to making tech education accessible, equitable, and most of all, exciting for teachers and students everywhere.
