Janine Walker-Caffrey

Janine Walker-Caffrey is a commercially minded educator with deep roots in K-12 schools. She started her career as a special education teacher and served in a variety of school leadership roles including Superintendent of Schools in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. For the past 8 years, Janine has been working in the edtech and services space. Past roles include CEO of Lexplore, Inc. and Chief Research Officer of Reading Plus. Janine is currently a senior advisor and executive in residence for Avathon Capital. She holds an Educational Doctorate in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University and an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School. She is also the author of two parenting books and proud grandmom to Jane, Duncan, and Boone.
