Jenni Torres

Dr. Jenni Torres is the Senior Vice President of Curriculum and Instruction for the non-profit Waterford.org. Under Jenni’s leadership, Waterford’s early learning curriculum expanded to include broader representation and family engagement resources in both English and Spanish. The contributions of the curriculum team contributed to Waterford’s numerous recognitions and awards including being named a 2019 Audacious Project and awarded a 2018 Education Innovation and Research Award for Expansion Grant by the U.S. Department of Education. Jenni collaborates with nationally recognized researchers and practitioners to ensure research-based literacy best practices and completed her dissertation work at American University with a focus on family engagement.
