Patti West-Smith

Patti West-Smith leads Turnitin’s Customer Engagement team. Previously, Patti spent 19 years working as a teacher, principal, curriculum supervisor, and other roles in public education in the US, while also developing local, state, and national curriculum and assessment. Patti served as an adjunct professor at Salisbury University in the teacher preparation program. With degrees in education, literacy, and leadership, she also holds certification as a superintendent. Patti has been honored to present at local, regional, and national conferences, as well as conducting research as a thought leader in the fields of formative assessment, feedback, academic integrity, and literacy education.
