Jennifer Rosas
Jennifer Fabiola Pérez Rosas (ella/she/her) began her educational journey as an emergent bilingual in the TX public school system within Houston. Being a Mestiza bilingual, bicultural daughter of immigrants positioned her to see education as her hope & opportunity for social mobility, but also served as a juxtaposition to her identity and language. She leads TNTP as an Academics Director decolonizing indigenous education in the Southwest and as a multilingual learner specialist. Prior to coming to TNTP, she served as a dual language school leader, bilingual instructional specialist, classroom teacher, and is a parent to two emergent bilinguals in public school. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with her B.A. in Interdisciplinary studies & her M.Ed in Ed Leadership.
