Lyric Flood

Lyric is a Partner on the School Design team with Transcend and brings over a decade of experience in the education realm. Prior to joining Transcend, Lyric held various roles for KIPP and Teach for America. Most recently, Lyric served as a Head of Program for Teach for America’s Houston region, where he redesigned teacher training to equip PK-12 educators with foundational restorative justice practices, led internal and external equity initiatives, and shepherded the region’s new approach to leadership development. Lyric believes education can either be a tool of oppression or a mechanism of liberation and this belief has guided him to lead with an equity lens throughout his career.
