Albert Palacios

Mr. Palacios leads the Experimental Design and Advanced Research Projects Accelerator (ED
ARPA) portfolio of innovation projects at the U.S. Department of Education. ED ARPA
leverages national subject matter experts to advance the use and development of emerging
technologies and innovative practices in the field of public education. Mr. Palacios had led open
innovation prize competitions and technology incubation programs at the Department for nine
years. Currently, he is leading the CTE CyberNet initiative that focuses on providing
cybersecurity professional development for high school CTE teachers. Mr. Palacios also leads
the Presidential Cybersecurity Education Award for the Department.
