Amanda Mukengeshayi

Amanda Mukengeshayi joined the School of Data Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio in November 2021 in the capacity of Manager of Strategic Initiatives. In her role, she is responsible for the strategy development and implementation of key academic initiatives. Over time, she has also become increasingly involved in large industry+ government+ academia grant / program development. Her previous role was that of Performance Analyst at United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County, where she worked alongside 30 local nonprofits by teaching them how to collect, analyze and use their data for informed decision making and continuous improvement process. She holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and International Management (2014) and a Master’s in Public Administration (2019) from UTSA.
