Cara Tait-Fanor
Cara Tait-Fanor has held a number of principalships in the NYC DOE. In 2012, she was appointed principal of The Green School. Cara shifted the school to a Restorative Justice Discipline model, increasing student leadership and student voice opportunities. In 2015, Cara was selected to be a Cahn Fellow, as a part of Columbia University’s Distinguished Principal Fellowship Program. In 2016 Mrs. Tait-Fanor oversaw the rebranding of the Green School to Williamsburg HS of Art and Technology--where she currently serves-- to a school that is focused on the student voice, equity, and innovative problem solving that our students will need in the future.
