Erica Bynum

Dr. Erica Bynum is an academic dean at Ellis Elementary in Arlington ISD. Throughout her 21 years, Erica has worked as a teacher, reading specialist/master reading teacher, and an assistant principal. She is a 2022 doctoral graduate with a published dissertation titled, “Teachers’ Perceptions of the Gifted and Talented Process and How It May Affect the Underrepresentation of Black Males in Gifted and Talented Programs.” Along with the Ellis Leadership Team, she graduated from the Holdsworth Center’s 2-year Campus Leadership Program in the summer of 2021.
