Maritza Roberts-Padilla
Maritza Roberts-Padilla is a rising junior from Tucson, Arizona. She serves as the Governor of Arizona and is the Vice-Chair of the Council of Governors, managing national cabinet affairs. Maritza is passionate about accessible sexual health education, civic engagement, and environmental advocacy. Since freshman year, Maritza has taken up leadership roles in her community to increase discussion based activism. She has constantly achieved to help the students in her community discover their own passions by creating activities that allow community members to access their personal interests. When she is not busy as a student leader, she can be found reading literature classics, researching micro-plastic neurotoxicity, posting on her study blog or hanging out with her friends and family.
