Alex Swartsel
Alex Swartsel is a director at Jobs for the Future (JFF) Labs. She leads cross-sector market research and storytelling to generate field-leading insights across the metaverse, employee experience technology, career navigation and more. Her team conducts pilot projects showcasing how innovation works in practice for populations not typically served by leading-edge solutions. Previously, she was chief of development, finance, and external affairs for Teach for America’s DC region; senior advisor to US Sen. Elizabeth Warren; co-designed global strategic planning at the Motion Picture Association; and built and led the communications team for US Senator Sheldon Whitehouse. Alex holds a BA summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Wellesley College and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
