Mitchell LeGrand
Mitchell is a nonprofit educator from the Twin Cities, Minnesota. He is the Educational Programs Manager at H2O for Life where he oversees the implementation of educational programming in the United States and beyond about the global water crisis. Over his time at H2O for Life, he has helped reframe the way the nonprofit has conversations about global issues and reimagined the programming from a DEIJ lens. His academic research explored the intersections of civic education and peacebuilding post-conflict. The Global Water Crisis is very possibly the greatest challenge that the next generation is going to have to navigate, and Mitchell wants to make sure we are preparing the next generation of global changemakers to make informed decisions about these critical problems they will be facing.
