Leslie Bushara
Leslie has been a leader in developing early childhood programs and exhibits that support at-risk children and families throughout a 30-year career at CMOM. She has overseen the development of programmatic initiatives including the creation of the Learning Hub model in shelters, Head Starts and at Rikers, leading content development for the groundbreaking early childhood exhibit, PlayWorks, and spearheading the creation of the curriculum and professional development model for its EatSleepPlay health initiative with the NIH. Leslie served on the executive committee for Association of Children’s Museums and has been honored with the 2013 White House Champions for Change, the 2017 New York State Association for the Education of Young Children Champions for Children, among others.
