Rigo Rodriguez
For almost 30 years, Rigo Rodriguez, Ph.D. has worked collaboratively with parents, neighborhood residents, community-based nonprofits, public agencies, and foundations to facilitate complex community-and-systems change initiatives in the fields of early childhood development, child welfare, mental health, community development, criminal justice, and transnational economic development. Rigo currently serves as President of the Board of Education for the Santa Ana Unified School District, the tenth largest school district in California and predominantly Mexican/Latinx (over 95% of the enrolled students). He also serves as the Chair of the Department of Chicanx/Latinx Studies at California State University, Long Beach where he is an Associate Professor in Latinx Public Policy.
