Danielle Ross
Danielle Ross is originally from Houston, Texas with roots in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and a Masters of Education from Southern Methodist University with a concentration in Gifted and Talented Curriculum & Instruction. Danielle’s style of pedagogy emphasizes the importance of cultural relevancy and authentic student engagement in the classroom. She has a unique way of bringing all student perspectives to the forefront of learning in order to engage and highlight student voice during instruction. She co-founded a social enterprise, Education PowerED, with the mission to generate culturally responsive solutions and resources in order to end educational inequity for students of color. Full time, Danielle works as a Assistant Principal of Culture at a middle school in Dallas, Texas
