I am a Dalcroze Eurhythmics teacher and have been teaching music to varied populations of students for over 15 years. I currently teach in a public county school district that provides special and alternative education services. I teach in 3 schools, each serving a unique population of students: Autism spectrum disorder; developmental and/or physical disabilities; at-risk inner-city middle and high school with behavioral and/or emotional classifications.

I believe that music can - and should - be used by all educators in order to better serve the developmentally diverse students we must now teach. Music stimulates us physically, emotionally, socially, cognitively, neurologically, and creatively. Let's talk about how you can (further) use music, and its many dynamic qualities, in your classes!
