Sean has over 25 years of edTech strategy and product design experience. In 2000, he founded Backpack Interactive, a specialized creative studio focused on designing great experiences for educational organizations and non-profits, including Scholastic, The Boys & Girls Clubs of America and The Wharton School of Business at U-Penn. He has set the creative vision for the highly-regarded firm; to harness the power of thoughtful design and delightful user experiences to enable better teaching, learning, and communication. Sean is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. His work has been recognized by The CODiE Awards, The Webby Awards, Communication Arts, SXSW Interactive, Business Week, The Smithsonian, and Apple. He is a frequent speaker on the topic of Design in edTech.
