Supporting Women at Work: Lessons from a CEO
Women make up 76% of educators but only 24% of school superintendents (AASA). A woman’s boss has the most significant impact on her job satisfaction and career trajectory, but it should not be the sole responsibility of female leaders to promote the women behind them. To combat the growing exodus of women from the workforce, schools can look to gender inclusion models from business to better support women and elevate more women to leadership roles.
