Center for Apprenticeship Podcast: Equitable Apprenticeships for Young Adults

Recording: Center for Apprenticeship Podcast: Equitable Apprenticeships for Young Adults, Date TBA

Young adults of color have been devastated in the pandemic and economic crisis. They have disproportionately lost jobs and been rehired in low-wage jobs with few advancement opportunities. Apprenticeships combine full-time jobs with training to access well-paying, middle-class jobs while also providing mentorship and social capital. Leaders in this podcast, recorded and edited by apprentices, discuss strategies to ensure more young people experiencing poverty succeed in their careers/education.
