The Race to Secure 1 Million Teachers of Color
Even before the pandemic began, a teacher shortage was on the horizon. COVID-19 accelerated this shortage, particularly with teachers of color, and now 40% of schools don’t have a single teacher of color on campus. This panel will explore a national initiative to add 1 million teachers of color over the next decade, and how to make this goal a reality.
