The pandemic broke an ailing child care system. Rebuilding it requires bolder advocacy approaches. Two philanthropic projects - Child Care NEXT and Raising Child Care Fund – are transforming early childhood advocacy in states by investing in grassroots leaders and coalition work that builds power among parents and early educators. Together with other advocates, these leaders are centering race equity, winning public funding, and shaping bold solutions that put those most impacted at the center.
