Closing the Gap: Black Girls in STEM
Recording:
Closing the Gap: Black Girls in STEM, Date TBA
The organization was created to inspire and encourage Black-American girls ages 6 to 21 to consider and pursue STEM-related careers. We focus our efforts on communities in regions where parents of these girls have not had support with their own jobs or careers and therefore cannot provide guidance to their children, and where the school systems provide minimal educational opportunities in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
