Recording: The African Americans in Sport Podclass: Black Student Athletes: Pathways to the Workforce, Date TBA

Typically the narrative surrounding the educational transition of Black student-athletes into the workforce emphasizes their failure to do so. In this podcast session, the audience will hear from three former Division 1 student-athletes who have successfully transitioned into the corporate, non-profit, and entrepreneurship workforce. Each panelist will describe their personal transition into the workforce and how their current roles can facilitate the effective transition of Black student-athletes.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
