Alexander Scharf

Alex Scharf is the leader of GLOBIS Unlimited (GLOBIS Manabihodai in Japanese), business microlearning from Japan's No. 1 MBA. With over 200,000 active users and 2,000 users in Japan and globally, it is one of Japan's largest elearning platforms. With all content as well as the learning platform application developed in-house, he leads mutlinational and multidisciplanary teams from marketing to instructional design to engineering. Before launching GLOBIS Unlimited, Alex started GLOBIS' Online MBA program, Asia's first 100% live online MBA from an accredited institution. Alex serves on the Board of Directors at GLOBIS USA Inc., based in San Francisco, California. Alex has lived in Japan for more than 10 years, working in local government, technology and education, and is fluent in Japanese. He has degrees from the University of Washington and Oregon State University.
