Meredith Hutchison
Meredith is a fierce artist activist, designer, and photo-facilitator, collaborating with communities to create images that combat oppressive systems and show new futures. Her work uses story, design, art, imagination and love, and she has facilitated participatory media programs in over 15 countries with international non-profits and grassroots movements. She is the Co-Founder/Creative Director of Resistance Communications - a creative action agency collaborating with resistors of injustice to ignite imagination, move people to action, and forge equitable, just futures. She also co-founded Vision Not Victim, a global girl-driven program providing creative platforms to unleash the power of girls and work towards gender equity. Her work has been featured by media outlets including the BBC, CNN, Newsweek, Ms. Magazine, Refinery 29, The Washington Post among others and has been exhibited across the globe. She has a Master's Degree in Economic and Political Development from Columbia.
