Perpetual Baffour
Perpetual Baffour is a Data Scientist at The Learning Agency Lab, an independent non-profit, focused on developing science of learning-based tools and programs for social good. She began her career in education policy, serving as an Emerson Fellow of National Policy for the University of Pennsylvania's Netter Center for Community Partnerships, housed at the Institute for Educational Leadership in Washington, DC. She then worked as a research associate for the Center for American Progress, where she co-authored publications on issues of education reform including school accountability, equity, and educational innovation. She also worked as a data analyst for the Office of Evaluation, Research, and Accountability at the School District of Philadelphia, where she focused on the use of high-quality data and strategic analytics to support the continuous improvement of schools. Perpetual is interested in the intersection of AI and machine learning for positive, social change. She received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and her master's degree in Computer and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania.
