Kelley Williams-Bolar, a parent in Akron, Ohio, was sentenced to ten days in jail in 2011 after using her father’s address to send her two daughters to school in a better district. She was initially sentenced to give years in prison before a judge suspended that sentence and gave her ten days instead. Her story received nationwide attention and is being told in an upcoming documentary: Robbed: A Mother’s Peril – The Kelley Williams-Bolar Story.
