Sualeha is a 17-year-old problem solver from Dallas, Texas who is driven to pursue work that is human-centric and holds the potential to make meaningful impact through innovation. She is currently researching and building in the intersections of EdTech, computational linguistics, and cognitive neuroscience. Currently, she is most curious about information transfer across languages and understanding the untapped potential of changing the limitation of information being communicated in only one language. She is also a first-place winner of the Peace & Justice Challenge hosted by NFTE’s World Series of Innovation for developing Equally, a project that uses AI algorithms to detect implicit bias in text-based communication online. Throughout the entirety of her work, she has also spread the message of diversity, equity, and inclusion alongside impact, including through her TEDx Talk “How does language shape implicit gender bias?” and as the co-host of The Boss Ladies Podcast where she is building a platform for impact-oriented women to share their authentic journeys, bringing together listeners from over 28 different countries.
