Kelly is the Program Manager for Curriculum + Instruction on the Youth Entrepreneurship team at the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovative Institute at Arizona State University. She has spent the last five years teaching and helping build K-12 innovative learning programs and maker spaces influenced by architectural studio model and project-based learning pedagogies. In the classroom, Kelly was a certified K12 Computer Science teacher and taught AP Computer Science Principles and Computer Science electives in addition to the technology and design thinking based makerspace courses. She currently helps build STEAM curriculum for middle-high school students utilizing emerging technologies along with designing and delivering the accompanying educator professional development supports. She is passionate about increasing engagement of female and underrepresented students in STEAM curriculum and the related STEAM college and career opportunities for these students.
