Ginger Chun

Ginger Chun is Licensed Master Social Worker and the Education & Family Engagement Manager at Transgender Education Network of Texas. She has been actively involved in education, advocacy, and support with the transgender community since 2015 when her oldest child came out. She is active in the LGBTQIA+ ally community in San Antonio where she co- established Trans Allies San Antonio, support group providing information and education to families of trans and gender expansive individuals and serves on the board of PFLAG San Antonio as well as the mayor’s LGBTQ Advisory Committee. Her past experience in various communities created a profound awareness of the need for connection and how individual experience, cultural expectations, and state regulation shape our lives.
