Brittany Young

Brittany is retired engineer and former educator from West Baltimore. She has programmed satellite explorations, manufactured medical devices &more. She believes those closest to the problem are the solution to solving it. She strives to elevate Black talent, genius, and culture. It is her hope to reimagine city planning and government best practices, along with providing a model for culturally relevant programming and curriculum.

In response to the lack of diversity in STEM and the need for programming to redirect non violent crime, Brittany founded B360 to utilize dirt bike culture to end the cycle of poverty, disrupt the prison pipeline, and build bridges in communities. Since 2017 B360 has saved Baltimore $1.5M and will save $233M in the next 5 years through their programming and advocacy.

Brittany is a champion for Baltimore, Black people and systemic change. Her features include TED, Forbes, Kelly Clarkson, CBS, The Washington Post, The Today Show and more.
