Alison Wheat

Since 2010, I have been working diligently to ensure the quality implementation of ELA instruction in K-5 classrooms in the DFW area. In my capacity as a classroom teacher in 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade Title I classrooms as well as an instructional specialist position in K-6, I have gained expertise working with at-risk and cognitively diverse students. My work regarding students with ASD and VAST(ADHD) in terms of literacy best practices has been featured at the TALE and TCTELA conferences.
