Anthonette Pena

Anthonette, the B-Unbound Program Director, is a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescence Science. Peña holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and a Master of Science in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Nova Southeastern University. As the first person in her family to graduate high school and attend college, she is passionate about education equity - particularly for women and historically marginalized groups in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). She joined the Big Picture Learning team in 2020 bringing her combined experiences as a middle school science teacher and Programs Director.
