Monique van Hest
Monique van Hest has a background working in journalism and for educational publishers, during which she has worked for brands like National Geographic Kids and Disney. Since 2016 she works as a part time professor at Fontys University of Applied Sciences where she teaches concept development and Transmedia Storytelling and is project coordinator for the hot spot Seoul, for which she cooperates with different Universities in the Netherlands and Korea. In 2020 and 2021 she has been a member of the lectorate Designing the Future that - among other things - researches the importance of silence in creativity and therefore expiriments with ways to streamline incubation.
Next to working for Fontys Academy for Creative Industries, Monique works as an independent writer and concept developer in children's entertainment.
