Joy Wiggins
Joy L. Wiggins, PhD. is a TEDx speaker, author, professor and coach who advocates for justice through compassion and open dialogue to ignite equitable, empowering and transformative business practices. Dr. Wiggins offers executive coaching, strategic planning, leadership programs, workshop facilitation, keynote speaking and is known for moderating sensitive topics on race and gender. Based on her co-authored book with Dr. Kami Anderson, “From Sabotage to Support: A New Vision for Feminist Solidarity in the Workplace,” Dr. Wiggins has facilitated over 300 workshops around social justice and equity in the workplace. She works with corporate, nonprofit and government clients and is featured in numerous media outlets, podcasts and corporate magazines including NPR, Best Practice in HR and CEO World. She sits on the board of Austin Women in Technology, serves as a SXSW mentor, and has recently been featured as an Austin Woman to Watch. She volunteers for the Girls Empowerment Network and facilitates Embody Love Movement workshops. She is currently spearheading Texas Senator Royce West’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion Task Force for a K-12 and Higher Education legislative bill that focuses on equity in education.
